Dear Tiny, Little, and Junior Miss Georgia Forestry
Pageant contestants,
We welcome you to the Miss Georgia Forestry Pageant to
be held on June 9, 2006, Friday night, and June 10,
2006, Saturday Night at the Performing Arts Center at
the Tift County High School. Please read all this
information and keep it in a safe place so you will
know what is going on at the pageant when you arrive!!
Tiny will compete at 5:00 P.M. and Little at 7:00 P.m.
on June 9th. Junior at 5:00 P.M. on June 10th. Doors
will open one hour prior to the pageant. I have listed
below an itinerary for you to go by. Rehearsal Friday,
June 9, 2006 at 9:00 a.m. for Little Miss, Tiny Miss
at 10:00 A.m. and 11:00 A.M. for Junior Miss.
Rehearsal is not mandatory, but this will be the only
time to walk the pattern, please don‘t ask, our
schedule is filled to the max. Contestants will have
the opportunity to walk the stage one time to get the
feel of the stage, so please be practicing the pattern
at home. At the Rehearsal we will give each contestant
a bag with their contestant number, photogenic
pictures, pictures you turned in for the program, your
t-shirt and program book if you ordered one. PRACTICE
THE ENCLOSED PATTERN!! We will have the X’s on the
stage for you. If the pattern doesn’t come through
correctly, then it is on the state website, go to

at the Performing Arts Center at the Tift County High.
Tiny Miss may have a parent or someone of your choice
to walk with them on stage. Dresses or gowns shall be
the choice of the parent, this means they can be long,
short, or any style. Directions to the Theatre. Get on
Interstate I-75 go north, get off on exit 64, turn
right, go down to the first traffic light and turn
left onto 20th street. Stay on 20th street until it
dead ends, you will pass our hospital and 20th Street
will dead-end at a traffic light. Turn left at the
traffic light, go down to the first traffic light and
turn right. Stay on this road and the High School
Theatre will be on your left. NO VIDEO CAMERAS OR
CAMERAS, BEEPERS OR CELL PHONES ALLOWED AT THE
PAGEANT. NO SOLICITING OF ANY KIND ALLOWED, THIS MEANS
NO PASSING OUT OF MATERIALS FOR OTHER EVENTS!!! THIS
IS FOR THE SAFETY OF OUR CONTESTANTS!! NO FOOD OR
DRINKS ALLOWED ON PREMISES! DON’T EVEN TRY TO BRING
CAMERAS, VIDEOS, FOOD, DRINKS, OR SOLICITATION. IF YOU
ARE CAUGHT YOU WILL BE DISQUALIFIED. FLOWERS, GIFTS,
AND CARDS CAN BE SENT TO CONTESTANTS, BUT NO CANDY OR
BALLOONS ALLOWED!! IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO HAVE FLOWERS
SENT, WE RECOMMEND THE FLOWER GALLERY. YOU CAN CALL
229-382-9359 TO PLACE YOUR ORDER. ORDERS SHOULD BE
PLACED AHEAD OF TIME. We will have a videographer and
photographer at the pageant set up by the dressing
room. You will have an order form for pictures and
videos in your bag when you get to the rehearsal. If
you do not attend rehearsal, Pick up your bag and if
entering photogenic, pickup photogenic pictures at the
side door when you get to the pageant. Any pictures
left at the pageant will be your responsibility to
pickup at a later date. If you want a motel, you need
to make reservations at the Holiday Inn in Tifton
immediately 229-382-6687. We will have a dressing room
for your child to get into her gown or pageant dress.
Only mom will be allowed in the dressing room.
Tiny , Little, and Junior can go around to the front
and watch the pageant after they walk but they must be
in the dressing room during
intermission. We will again have a Miss Georgia
Forestry Pageant People’s Choice Winner in each age
division. Votes are $1.00 each. You can start
collecting money now and turn it in the night of the
pageant. We will have a voting booth set up in the
lobby with each contestants name and picture. Votes
can be collected from now until intermission the night
of the pageant. Tickets: Admission is $15.00 per
person and will be sold at the rehearsal or at the
door. Seats are not reserved and you can sit wherever
you like.
Contestant only is admitted free.
All Queens crowned will meet me for breakfast at the
Holiday Inn at 9:00 A.M. on June Sunday morning, June
18th to sign contracts, and go over details of the
upcoming year and what is expected of the Forestry
Queens and so forth. This will be mandatory for all
the newly crowned queens and their moms to attend.
